Lynsey joined Browne Craine & Co in January 2010 and heads up the audit department. Her day-to-day job involves assisting staff and clients with technical accounting and audit queries, reviewing audit files, attending client meetings, and overseeing the staff training. Lynsey has gained a variety of experience within the offshore financial services industry, the pensions sector and within locally owned businesses.
Lynsey graduated from York University with a degree in Maths and Statistics and became a qualified Chartered Accountant in 2010. In 2015, Lynsey joined the Board of Directors.
In 2016 Lynsey was awarded the ICAEW Audit Qualification. This award is given to ICAEW members who have demonstrated that they have achieved sufficient knowledge and supervised experience in audit, through examination and work experience gained within an ICAEW Authorised Training Employer. In 2017, Lynsey was also awarded “Responsible Individual” Status from the ICAEW. Obtaining such a status has allowed Browne Craine to continue to grow the firm’s UK statutory audit portfolio and ensures that the firm can continue to provide audit services to current UK audit clients.
In her spare time, Lynsey enjoys taking part in a number of sports including netball, hockey and walking. She also competes in the local netball and hockey leagues and regularly takes part in the annual Isle of Man Parish Walk.
