James joined Browne Craine & Co in February 2005 and primarily responsible for the oversight of the local accounts & taxation department and since joining the firm, he has built a strong relationship with our local clients.
James qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in February 2011 and specialises in audit, accountancy, superannuation, medical practices, Manx company and personal taxation. In 2015 he joined Browne Craine & Co’s Board of Directors.
Outside of work, James acts as the Accounting Trustee of the McKenzie Trust. He is the third Browne Craine & Co Director to sit on the Board of Trustees, having followed in the footsteps of fellow Directors David Craine and Craig Mitchell. The Trust aims to help businesses start up and grow on the Island without the pressure and personal risks inherent in a traditional environment. James also sits on the Board of the British Heart Foundation (Isle of Man branch).
In his spare time, James is a cycling enthusiast and enjoys participating in local races.
