James joined Browne Craine & Co as a Trainee Accountant in 2001 after graduating from University. Dealing with both local and offshore clients, he quickly learned the principles in accountancy, tax and business advice services, and soon took an additional management role for Browne Craine's sister company, Peregrine Corporate Services Limited.
Continuing to develop and determined to succeed, James was promoted to head up the accounts department for Peregrine. He leads a team of professionals responsible for managing the preparation of accounts and tax returns for all corporate and trust clients.
With a portfolio of local clients, James prides himself in providing a high quality service, with a friendly approachable manner.
James qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in 2005, gained his fellowship in 2010 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 2013 via the ICAEW Pathways scheme.
James lives in Douglas with his wife Rachel & two young daughters. Outside of work his interests include music, football and the TT Races. Thanks to his daughters he has also built up an encyclopaedic knowledge of Fireman Sam and Topsie and Tim!
