Douglas, Isle of Man – Kharl Flynn, one of Browne Craine’s qualified Chartered Accountants, was pleased to attend the Isle of Man Society of Chartered Accountants (“IOMSCA’s) Newly Qualified Ceremony. Kharl was presented his certificate by IOMSCA Chair, Paul Jones, and Chief Minister, Howard Quayle.

“I’d once again like to congratulate Kharl for becoming a qualified accountant,” enthused James Sayle, director at Browne Craine. “Like a lot of professions, becoming an accountant requires a lot of dedication and hard work in both the individual’s work and personal time. Congratulations Kharl.”

Kharl joined Browne Craine in July 2015 as a trainee accountant. His job role has developed over the years and he is now responsible for his own portfolio of clients. With Browne Craine previously having only trained ACCA students, Kharl was the first student to take the ACA training route and became the first trainee accountant at Browne Craine to become ACA qualified. Not one for doing things by halves, Kharl was delighted to find out he came third in the top Isle of Man Order of Merit in respect of his final ACA exam results.

“I’d like to thank Browne Craine for giving me the opportunity when I left school to join the firm and train to become an accountant. It’s not an easy thing to do, particularly when you’re working full-time and studying after work and during your weekend, but it has all been worth it, I’m so pleased. I’m looking forward to my future at Browne Craine as a fully qualified accountant.” Kharl commented.
