Basil Bielich to attend TIAG Paris Conference

Basil Bielich

Browne Craine & Co (“Browne Craine”) director Basil Bielich will be heading to Paris to attend the International Accounting Group’s (“TIAG”) annual spring conference in May. Taking place between the 3rd and 5th of the month, the conference is expected to attract more than 200 delegates from around the world.

“Each conference provides a great platform for selling the Isle of Man as a jurisdiction and the benefits of doing business on the Island,” said Basil. “We’ve been members of TIAG for almost 10 years – being part of the group means we have a global reach enabling us to serve our clients wherever the growth of their business takes them.”

TIAG was founded in 2003 and is a global alliance of independent accounting firms, serving clients in multiple jurisdictions. TIAG members are carefully selected for membership based on their professional competence, commitment to client service, reputation within the business community, and recommendations from existing members. Browne Craine is the only firm based on the Isle of Man to become part of TIAG.

The conference will be built around a broad range of panel sessions covering a variety of subjects including Brexit and the implications for M&A activity in the UK and EU, relocating operations and personnel to a new jurisdiction, and succession planning in firms.

“International conferences such as this are an ideal way to build relationships with different firms around the world, as you get to meet face to face, rather than just speaking to them via email or telephone. Being part of TIAG has given us opportunities to work with other firms that we probably wouldn’t have worked with simply because we hadn’t heard of each other!”

If you are in Paris between the 3rd and 5th May and would like to meet Basil to discuss how Browne Craine can help you and your business, please email him at and he would be delighted to hear from you.
