2017 – a successful year for Browne Craine’s students

Burleigh Manor

2017 has been a successful year for Browne Craine’s students. Kharl Flynn, Rich Creer, Alex Burnett, Jessica Creer, Matt Davies and Angelika Cajigal have been studying for their accountancy exams, while Rachael Storey and Laura Pover have been studying for the STEP qualification.

“Most of our students have either come straight from school or have been to university when they start at the firm, and in most instances, this is their first job,” explained training director Lynsey Smith. “We are committed to developing our staff and ensure they receive plenty of varied experience in their day to day job. By supporting our staff in developing their careers and ensuring that regular training is provided not only benefits the individual, but also Browne Craine and our clients.”

The firm prides itself on being a Platinum ACCA training provider and an approved training firm from the Institute of England and Wales, providing a first-class accountancy training package and support. The firm offers many other training support packages with students also studying towards ICSA, ICA and STEP qualifications.

“I’d like to congratulate all of our employees who have sat exams this year,” continued Lynsey. “Studying and working full time is not easy, in fact, it can be a very difficult part of a student’s life having to juggle full time work and study. Each one of them works incredibly hard and I am very proud of them.”

Many of the firm’s senior staff started training for their accountancy qualifications while working for Browne Craine. Providing continued support and development opportunities for our staff helps in retaining our staff, with many of the senior staff having qualified with Browne Craine still working at the firm today.
