Browne Craine & Co (“Browne Craine”) is pleased to announce it has gained Platinum Approved Employer Status from the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (“ACCA”); the highest and most prestigious level of the ACCA approved employer status in relation to trainee development. The Platinum ACCA Approved Employer Status recognises Browne Craine’s commitment to progressing its trainees’ careers as finance professionals.

To achieve this accreditation, Browne Craine had to undergo a vigorous application process, demonstrating that they had met all of the best practice statements required by the ACCA.  As part of the application process the ACCA reviewed the practical experience and support that Browne Craine provides to its trainees, focussing on the long term development planning for their employees.

“Gaining the Platinum Approved Employer Status from the ACCA is great for Browne Craine and our ACCA approved training development processes will undoubtedly benefit all of our employees,” said Lynsey Smith, director at Browne Craine. “We recognise the importance of developing our staff to their full potential and the awarding of the platinum status reflects this commitment.”

In 2015, Browne Craine successfully renewed the “ACCA Approved Employer – Practising Certificate Development” status which recognises the support provided to their employees who are either ACCA trainees or members working towards an ACCA practising certificate and/or audit qualification.
