David is a founding director of Browne Craine & Co and heads up the accountancy department. He also has an involvement with the audit department. David specialises in insolvency work and has acted as a “liquidator” or “receiver” on behalf of the regulatory authorities.
David qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 and has practiced on the Island for over 30 years. He is a former Chairman of the Isle of Man Society of Chartered Accountants, and, local charity Victim Support IOM. David remains on the management committee for Victim Support IOM as the charity is something he is very passionate about. He is also a local Magistrate.
In his spare time, David enjoys off road motorcycling and regularly competes in trials events – he complains he does not “bounce” as well as he used to!
