Maurice Singer F.C.A. TEP
msinger@burleigh.co.imFollowing a short period of employment with the UK Inland Revenue, Maurice qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1973. Born on Merseyside where he ran an accountancy practice until 1990. A founding director of Browne Craine & Co, Maurice’s Isle of Man roots go back to 1978. He has a wealth of experience in the offshore sector and his field of expertise is business acquisitions and disposals, trust administration and executorship, company management and property investment.
David Craine F.C.A. MCMI
dcraine@burleigh.co.imDavid, Manx born and bred, is the other founding director of Browne Craine & Co. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 and has practiced on the island for over 25 years. David heads up our audit and accountancy team and has extensive experience in the local market. In recent years David has also specialised in insolvency work and has acted as Liquidator or Receiver on behalf of the regulatory authorities. He is a former Chairman of the Isle of Man Society of Chartered Accountants, holds board positions on publicly quoted companies, and is also a local Magistrate.
Basil Bielich B.Acc (Hons) CA (SA)

Basil is South African by origin and grew up in Pretoria. After completing his
training with Ernest & Young he qualified as a South African Chartered Accountant
in 1991. Basil moved to the island in 1997 and is particularly interested in
offshore structures for the protection
of intellectual property.
Craig Mitchell ACCA

Craig is the most recent addition to the board of directors having being elected
in the spring of 2007. A qualified Chartered Certified Accountant, Craig brings
with him a broad range of experience from both the accountancy and financial
service sectors. Having worked in private
practice for over 15 years, Craig heads up our accounts and income
tax departments.
